The Perfect Caipirinha

'Nuff said.

  1. ...And let me just say, it really depends on the bartender! There's a place that serves them here, and one day a friend and I went and they were terrific. Took M there a few days later -- disaster, and he says he never wants to try one again. Consistency in a bar/restaurant -- is that too much to ask?

  2. Recipe of Caipirinha Gabriela

    - 1/2 Lime (1 is better)
    - 1 Tablespoon of sugar
    - 4-6 cl of Cachaça Gabriela
    - Ice Cubes

    How to do it

Slice the lime in two or four pieces. Put the sugar in a glass and squeeze together the lemon pieces with a pestle. Then, add Cachaça Gabriela in the glass and stir it to mix. Add the ice and stir again.

  3. Close. add a bit more sugar and ice water. the icewater helps keep the icecubes from melting so fast. (only from experience do i know this!)
